On the 10th October the XR_Skills project (2021-1-SE01-KA220-VET-000030106) was presented in Italy in the occassion of the World Mental Health Day and the Erasmus Days to undergraduates and post-graduates psychologists. To celebrate this important date, CEIPES and UNIPA have organised an event in Italy with various topics related to good European practices for the promotion of mental health.
In this respect, XR_Skills has been presented as an example of European good practice related to mental well-being, as the project has the main objective of fostering teachers and educators soft skills through an improvement of University curriculum for undergraduates and post-graduates psychologists soft skills in the use of Virtual Reality for training and education.
In the framework of XR_Skills project, the event was attended by a special guest, the Digital Psychologist Giuseppe Scuderi, founder of the Digital Psychology and Psychotherapy Centre, where he applies digital cognitive rehabilitation through initial cognitive assessment, cognitive training on tablets and virtual reality.
Considering that the XR_Skills Virtual Game has Mindfulness scenarios, the corporate Trainer and Psychologist Ennio Iannitto explained its benefits and led a final Mindfulness session to close the event in the best possible way.
