On 12-13 October, the 5th and last transnational meeting of the XR_Skills project (2021-1-SE01-KA220-VET-000030106) was held in Athens. The main objective of this project is to promote soft skills among teachers and educators, focusing on the improvement of the university curriculum for both undergraduate and postgraduate psychologists. The key to this progress lies in the use of Virtual Reality as a training and educational tool.
At this step close to the end of the project, the meeting has served to discuss the details that are still pending and the next final steps. Within the project, CEIPES assumes the leadership in dissemination, so social media indicators have been shared in order to have a general overview about the promotion actions of the project and how to contribute with its exploitation and sustainability.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the discussion about the latest updates of the virtual reality version of the game. The alpha and beta pilot tests, which were computer-based, have already been successfully completed and the virtual reality version is still being tested in each partner country.. This will gather feedback and suggestions to further improve its effectiveness and usefulness in the final version.
The XR-Skills project is moving towards completion. The commitment and dedication of the partners involved augur a significant impact on education, contributing to the integral development of future psychology professionals through Virtual Reality.
